1. When the concentration evaporation water volume of the system is too large, but the liquid level cannot be supplemented for a long time, and the flow of the circulating pump is small, when the pressure of phosphoric acid in contact with the impeller surface is lower than its steam pressure, the bubbles burst, producing great impact force and high temperature at the moment of burst, causing fatigue corrosion of the impeller to appear small pits, that is, cavitation. Although it mostly occurs on the surface of the impeller, it also occurs in the block hole of the phosphoric acid path, and some bubbles will also enter the graphite block. When the blocking pressure increases, it will also burst in the pipe and generate great impact and high temperature, leading to the fracture of the block hole of the graphite heat exchanger. 2. When the phosphoric acid circulating pump stops or the power is cut off suddenly, the phosphoric acid circulation of the system stops. At this time, the steam is not cut off in time, and the acid temperature in the pipe is locally overheated, causing the rupture of the graphite heat exchanger block;
3. Due to the explosion of phosphoric acid in the production process, there is a large amount of liquid foam in the vapor space of the evaporation chamber. The impurities of the liquid foam seed attach to the wall of the evaporator to form a scale layer, which falls off and blocks the graphite pipe orifice. During the continuous heating process, the scale substance blocks the pipe, causing the termination of the circulation of phosphoric acid and the rupture of the graphite heat exchanger block hole.
The above is the reason why the graphite heat exchanger breaks in production. Later, we will answer how to prevent these problems.
