The maintenance of graphite heat exchanger is actually a systematic work. Formulate reasonable maintenance plans, measures and periods according to the classification of heat exchanger media, and carefully implement the maintenance plans and measures. Take the application of YKB block hole graphite heat exchanger in the analysis process as an example. Calcium chloride solution mainly flows through the axial feed hole of the graphite heat exchanger. We know that calcium chloride solution is easy to precipitate. With the increase of temperature, when the concentration of calcium chloride solution reaches 50%, it is very easy to block the feed hole by crystallization, and Z finally leads to shutdown.
Therefore, the temperature index of analytical process must be strictly controlled in production to ensure the calcium chloride concentration and maintain safe operation.
Maintenance before production and operation: when there is a temperature drop between startup and shutdown in rainy days, the phenomenon of thermal expansion and cold contraction will occur. Therefore, before production and operation, the pressure spring of the graphite heat exchanger should be pressurized and confined. The size of each pressure spring on the top of the heat exchanger should reach 140mm to avoid leakage at the internal and external seals of the heat exchanger, thus ensuring the success rate of startup and operation.
Planned shutdown for maintenance: first discharge the calcium chloride solution in the system from the lower part of the system Z for recovery, then add hot water to the system, and then circularly flush the graphite heat exchanger through the circulating pump. The operation shall be carried out at least twice until the heat exchanger discharges clean water.
