Graphite heat exchanger is mainly used in the environment containing hydrochloric acid. The tube side is graphite, and the shell side is generally carbon steel. The main vulnerable parts are the nozzle of the connecting pipe (expansion joint must be added to the connecting pipe because of external force fracture) and the heat exchange pipe (temperature difference stress, pay attention to the temperature difference during startup and shutdown). Manufacturer of graphite heat exchanger
Graphite heat exchanger plays an important role in production. It can not only effectively exchange heat and reduce energy consumption, but also improve the yield of related materials, thus reducing material consumption. Its use in the production of epichlorohydrin not only saves the steam consumption of the cyclization reaction tower, but also improves the reaction yield of dichloropropane.
Heat exchange effect of graphite heat exchanger:
The thermal conductivity of graphite is 480.7J/(m · h · ℃), while the thermal conductivity of general alloys is much lower, such as 58.69J/(m · h · ℃) for 304 stainless steel. Therefore, the thermal resistance of graphite with the same thickness is smaller than that of stainless steel, which is also strong in heat transfer capacity. Although the thermal resistance of the pipe wall in the process of heat transfer is much smaller than that of fluid and dirt, this effect can not be ignored sometimes.
Graphite equipment is divided into the following categories:
1. Generally, it is roasted to about 300 ℃ after immersion (most of them are at this level in China, and at least 1000 ℃ abroad);
2. The other is isostatic pressing graphite, the more advanced process has been adopted by some Japanese and French enterprises (but it is said that this process has been eliminated by Xigeli, because it is too fragile, and I did not remember to look back and add their process methods);
3. To strengthen graphite, a layer of carbon fiber is wound around the graphite to increase its strength (used in places with high pressure).
