The graphite heat exchanger shall be inspected and repaired in daily use to prevent failure, delay and work delay in production.
First, check whether the material, size and pipe orientation of the graphite heat exchanger meet the design requirements. The graphite parts shall be inspected one by one, and the block hole graphite heat exchanger shall avoid serious defects such as cracks, peeling and bubbles, which may affect the appearance and use.
Check that the number of leakage of graphite heat exchanger tubes should not exceed 10% of the total number, which can be increased or decreased according to the actual situation. Pipe plugging method can be used for treatment. The hardness of impermeable graphite plug shall be slightly lower than the overall hardness of the pipe.
If there are many leakages in the graphite heat exchanger, the number should not exceed 30% of the total number of tubes, and the tubes should be replaced for maintenance. On the other hand, if the number of pipes with leakage has exceeded 30% of the total number, it is necessary to update the whole equipment.
Check the scaling of the equipment. If the scaling is serious enough to affect the use of the graphite heat exchanger, it can be cleaned by chemical methods, and then washed with water. Mechanical cleaning is not allowed to prevent damage to the pipe. If there is any blockage, it can be heated and melted.
If the tube of the graphite heat exchanger is found to be broken, a drill can be used to remove the broken tube and replace it with a new one. In case of leakage at floating head and tube plate, or leakage between tube and tube plate, immersion method can be used for maintenance.
When using bolts to tighten all parts of the graphite heat exchanger, pay attention to the uniform force, and the spring should not be stuck in the face of additional paralysis.
